
Doctors Announce Addition
to Medical Practice
Doctor’s Rana K. Munna, Russell O’Neal, and Laurie
Tharpe recently announced the addition of Dr. W. Wade
Hardy, MD to their practice. Dr. Hardy specializes in
Internal Medicine, and is originally from Hawkinsville, GA.
He received his Associate of Science at Middle GA College
in Cochran and his Bachelor of Science in Occupational
Therapy at Medical College of GA in Augusta. He received
his Doctor of Medicine Degree at Mercer University and
completed his residency at The Medical Center of Central
Georgia. Dr. Hardy’s awards and accomplishments
include being appointed as Chief Resident of Internal
Medicine; Outstanding Internal Medicine Resident, Dean's
List, and Honor Graduate. His professional memberships
include American College of Physicians, American Medical
Association, Medical Association of Georgia, Bibb County
Medical Society, Barnes Society of Medicine, and Georgia 4-
H Counselor Alumni Association. Dr. Hardy can be

Atlantic Southern Bank Announces
Chief Administrative Officer
Ed Loomis recently was named Chief Administrative
Officer of Atlantic Southern Bank. Loomis will be
responsible for overseeing compliance, deposit
operations, retail support, information technology, and
facility administration.
A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Loomis was
President and CEO of First Macon Bank from 1988 until
1998, at which time the bank was sold. He has spent
recent years in retirement before deciding to return to the
banking industry.
“Our chief administrative officer is charged with supporting
Atlantic Southern’s growth and expansion,” said Mark
Stevens, Atlantic Southern president and CEO. “Ed’s track
record of accomplishments within the banking industry
makes him uniquely qualified to lead in this area.”
Johnson Insurance Agency Expands
The Craig Johnson Agency has acquired two additional
Nationwide agencies – one in Macon and one in Warner
Robins. Johnson moved the Billy Miles Agency, previously
located on Shurling Drive, into his Ingleside Avenue office
after Miles retired in March. Johnson welcomes all of Mr.
Miles’ customers to the Ingleside location. Johnson also
took over the Kent Jordan Agency in Warner Robins and
relocated that office to 1259R Russell Parkway.
The Craig Johnson Agency has added two employees.
Andy Owen has accepted a sales position. Kathy
Courington is the office manager of the Warner Robins
location.
Mabel White Baptist Church Announces
the Opening of Tori Heard Park
Mabel White Baptist Church recently created a park in
memory of Tori Heard, an eight-year old girl and a church
member who was tragically killed in October 2006. Tori
Heard Park (THP) will provide opportunities for the
congregation and the community. Phase One of THP
includes a 70 x 40 yard playing field and one grassy all-
purpose field. In addition, the park will include a state-of-
the-art children’s playground (ages two to 12 years) that
accommodates up to 55 children. Further, a two-mile
mountain bike and walking trail will wind through the
church’s 40 acres. Tori Heard Park will also include
numerous areas for quiet meditation and reflection.
