Around Town North Macon is a monthly community magazine owned
and published by Macon resident Jennifer M. Williams, who brings
with her a passion for the Macon community and an excitement for
this new publication. The first issue of Around Town North Macon was
published in October 2007.
Jennifer graduated in the top two percent of her high school class and
attended the University of Rochester in 2003 with degrees in Brain and
Cognitive Sciences and Psychology. Jennifer moved to Macon in 2005,
along with her fiancé Dr. Kevin Bucholtz, an Assistant Professor at
Mercer University. Jennifer currently is anticipating the completion of
her Masters in Business Administration degree from Mercer.
Jennifer has long been a big supporter of her local community. In 1998,
she was recognized by the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished
Americans through the Horatio Alger-Louis Feinstein Enriching America
Award, one of only 120 awarded nationally in 1998. She also was
recognized with the Prudential Spirit of Community Award for
outstanding volunteer services to her community and by Jane Dee
Hull, former Governor of the State of Arizona, for outstanding service
to the State of Arizona.

information that spotlights local residents, organizations, and businesses operating and working together.
Around Town North Macon is free and mailed to ~95% of the local residents and businesses in North Macon
and the surrounding area each month. Additional copies are available for pick-up at local businesses. Total
distribution is 20,000 copies each month. For residents who do not automatically receive the magazine, yearly
subscriptions are available for purchase.
